Crispin & Borst Awarded £10 Million Office Refurbishment Contract

The London Region of Crispin & Borst Limited (part of VINCI PLC) has been awarded a £10 million contract to refurbish Bidborough House, a seven-storey 1960’s office building currently accommodating the Housing Department of Camden Council.
The refurbishment of the building’s envelope includes new roof coverings, new windows, rain screen cladding and general repairs, as well as increasing the amount of external insulation, all of which will help to improve the office’s carbon footprint.
Other modifications include creating an open office plan arrangement internally along with the installation of new M&E services, IT and communications systems throughout.
To encourage staff to abandon their cars in favour of cycling to work, the contract includes the provision of secure cycle storage, new shower and changing facilities.
