Norwest Holst Awarded £30 Million Contract as Part of Campus Redevelopment Project at Barnet College
The London & Northern Home counties region of Norwest Holst’s Building division has been awarded a £30 million contract for the design and construction of a new 14,000m² building as part of the campus redevelopment project at Barnet College.
The new building will be mostly three storeys high and will be organised around a south facing atrium which accommodates escalators, lifts, stair cores and main circulation routes.
A key driver for the design by Frederick Gibberd Partnership has been to provide a building which is flexible in use and adaptable to change through efficient space planning and the zoning of similar activities and environments.
