VINCI Construction UK Limited Awarded £6.1 Million Contract by
Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS foundation Trust
The Building division of VINCI Construction UK Limited has been awarded a £6.1 million contract by Wirral University Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The contract includes the demolition of the existing nurse training suite and the construction of a single storey decontamination unit and surgical admissions lounge. The decontamination unit will contain plant and equipment for storing dirty surgical equipment which will be washed, sterilised and repackaged for re-use. The 1500m² building is designed to accommodate two further floors in the future.
The contract also includes the fit-out of 60 bath/shower rooms over three floors of the main hospital in a live environment
