£14.3 Million Contract Awarded to Build Student Accommodation
For University of Glamorgan
VINCI Construction UK has been awarded a £14.3 million contract to build five new student accommodation blocks on the Treforest Campus for the University of Glamorgan in Pontypridd.
The development will provide 476 en-suite student residences to replace the existing halls of residence at Neuadd Philip Evans and Neuadd Philip Squire which will be demolished as part of the contract.
The project forms part of the University’s £130 million investment into its facilities and campuses to provide new students’ union buildings, new science spaces and improvements to sports facilities and accommodation.
