VINCI supports the approach initiated in 2002 by EGF-BTP (Association of French building and public works contractors) and the CNSTB (National council for construction sub-contracting) for the implementation of a conciliation protocol providing for the out-of-court settlement of disputes arising from co- or sub-contracting. The aim is to reach a rapid, confidential settlement with a minimum of expense, while maintaining commercial relations. In 2002, a Sogea Construction company solved a dispute with a tile supplier using this procedure.
