Equal opportunities
Promoting diversity in the Group
The diversity policy
is guided by the equal opportunities committee, which identifies the
issues, analyses the latest information, identifies the best practices
implemented by VINCI companies, defines a benchmark, puts forward a
programme of actions and produces practical tools. The policy is
further supported by the network of human resources managers and the
European Works Council.
In 2008, following awareness-raising training for senior managers and human resources managers, more than 46,000 employees received a document entitled "Pour plus de diversité" (for more diversity), setting out the challenges and avenues for action to improve management of the age pyramid and increase the proportion of disabled employees and people from immigrant backgrounds.
